Get Hooked on Fly Fishing in Montana with this BOW Beginner Workshop. Fly Fishing is one of the most iconic and popular sports in Montana, and an excellent way to get outdoors. Join Montana BOW for this incredible opportunity to learn the basics of Fly Fishing in Kalispell, MT. This class will cover the basics of fly fishing equipment, matching the hatch, reading water and where to fish, casting techniques, fishing regulations, catching fish, safety and ethics. Class Details Saturday August 8 • 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in classroom discussion of gear, techniques, regulations, and ethics. • Class will break for lunch. Bring lunch or visit one of the many restaurants nearby. • Wear outdoor appropriate clothing, as the class will spend part of the time outside fishing General • No fishing license needed • You are welcome to bring your own equipment or borrow ours • Must be 18 or older to attend. Cost of class • $15 About BOW Becoming an Outdoors-Woman (BOW) is a nationally recognized program and has been active in Montana since 1994. This program is designed to introduce women to different outdoor skills such as birding, fishing, hunting, shooting, orienteering, kayaking and more.
