Youth Program: Lakota Legends: Children ages 7-13 are invited to join Makoshika State Park staff this summer for an exciting and educational experience! Students will get to learn about some of the many legends of the Lakota people, as well as learn about how they preserved history without writing any of it down! Participants should bring a water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen, and dress appropriately for the weather. Tennis shoes, please, no flip-flops or open-toed sandals. 9:30-11:30 am
