Interested in trying stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) but not sure where to start? This beginner friendly class will teach participants the fundamentals of stand-up paddleboarding in a fun, supportive environment at Spring Meadow Lake State Park. Whether you're interested in paddling for exercise, exploring Montana's lakes, or simply spending more time on the water, this class will provide the skills and confidence to get you started safely.
Participants will learn paddleboarding safety and regulations, how to choose the right board and equipment, proper techniques for standing up and balancing, basic paddle strokes, and what to do if you fall in, including how to safely get back onto your board.
