National Trails Day: Sunset Hike: National Trails Day recognizes the incredible benefits that federal, state, and local trails provide for recreation and exposure to nature. This day encourages people to discover their local trails, become active concerning trail issues, and share excitement for the outdoors. Join Makoshika State Park staff on a sunset hike, where we will lead participants on a 3-mile moderate/ strenuous hike. Participants should wear proper footwear and dress for the weather. We will have s’mores following the hike!
