Youth Program: Geology of Makoshika: Children ages 7-13 are invited to join Makoshika State Park staff this summer for an exciting and educational experience! Students will brush up on their knowledge of rocks by learning about all the different types of minerals and geologic formations that can be found in Makoshika. Participants should bring a water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen, and dress appropriately for the weather. Tennis shoes, please, no flip-flops or open-toed sandals. 9:30-11:30
